Purpose: This individual is responsible for
the operation and development of landscape maintenance clients,
seasonal color, and seasonal lighting business.
Job Responsibilities
- Seek and respond to sales leads for maintenance, seasonal
color and seasonal decorating through appropriate communication
methods. Establish rapport with property managers to get company
on bid lists.
- Analyze prospective sites, client needs and goals. Estimates
landscape maintenance costs.
- Establish profit goals, prepare and deliver bids for such
work.
- Train and develop maintenance personnel in industry best practices
and safety rules and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client communication channels
and trust.
- Direct crews and may participate in the work.
- Obtain paychecks from Bookkeeping and distribute to directly
supervised employees biweekly. Make recommendations for raises
and growth opportunities for personnel.
- Maintain contract, accurate records of work done, and create
client invoices.
- Seek and make recommendations for appropriate vendors. Develop
and maintain such vendor relationships.

- Develop a competitive, profitable and desirable business unit
in a crowded field.
Freedom to Act
- Hire and fire personnel with Top Management approval.
- Make recommendation to Top Management for necessary equipment
and supplies and vendors. Procure approved materials.
- Independently plan, organize and schedule work and resources,
responsible for condition of equipment used, and is solely accountable.
- Report any accidents or damage to Administration and Top Management.
Scope
- Diverse projects including, but not limited to, snow removal,
landscape maintenance tasks, planting and removal of seasonal
plants, and holiday lighting design, installation, removal and
storage.
- Residential, multi-family and commercial projects.
- Geographical range is focused in the Denver metro area.
Work Environment
- Work is outdoors in diverse weather conditions, in the company
office, at client homes or offices, or at home.
- Work is primarily Monday - Friday; hours are subject to change
with weather conditions and work load. Overtime is common Spring
- Fall.
- Snow removal work may require night-time hours with extensive
overtime and may occur on weekends and holidays.

- Company-wide, property managers, site supervisors, maintenance
company personnel, HOA boards, city inspectors, warranty personnel
at construction firms, and owners.
Qualifications for the Position
- 5 years of industry experience, preferably along the Front
Range, with a degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and safety rules and
regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and notations.
- Proficient with broad range of equipment commonly used in
landscape maintenance work.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Valid Colorado driver's license and social security card.

visa or work permit.
