Purpose: Maintain company nursery stock, materials;
provide nursery materials to construction crews as needed. Responsible
for routine vehicle maintenance. Maintain company plant stock
health through nursery best practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment needed to load, unload and heel-in plant
stock.
- Take inventory weekly of nursery stock and construction material
hardgoods and request purchasing agent to order replacements
as needed.
- Maintain an accurate on-line inventory of all company B&B
plant materials.
- Drive lift truck or box truck to pick up and deliver plant
material from 3rd party nurseries to designated sites.
- Direct and supervise personnel assigned to nursery duties.
- Maintain accurate records of plant material movement.
- Provide accurate and timely paperwork to administration.
Principal Problems/Challenges
- Organize a myriad of activities and priorities on a daily
basis.
- Effectively communicate to diverse audiences in English and
Spanish.

- Report to Top Management.
- Organize day with input from Top Management, Project Managers,
and Foremen and Purchaser as to their needs and priorities.
- Appoint, schedule and prioritize work for personnel assigned
to nursery duties.

- Fully accountable for form and function of Louisville and
Dacono nurseries.
Work Environment
- Outside nearly all the time; paperwork and computer work represent
no more than 15% of workload.
- Work is primarily Monday through Friday; hours are subject
to change with weather and workload. Overtime is common Spring
- Fall.

Qualifications for the Position
- Effectively bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of nursery management best practices.
- Valid social security card and Colorado driver's license with
clean record for past three years.
- Experienced in bobcat and tractor operations.
