Purpose: This individual provides company representation
to clients and leadership, planning, management, and organization
for two or more crews to complete tasks and projects at multiple
sites concurrently.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the current and future needs of clients and convey
that understanding to written reports and Top Management.
- Instruct, manage, mentor and promote cooperation of Foremen
and Assistant Foremen; advise them of safety rules and regulations
and best practices of assigned project.
- Develop thorough understanding of project needs and goals
by reading and interpreting blueprints and by consulting Top
Management.
- Identify all project requirements such as equipment, manpower,
materials, etc., and coordinate with Top Management and Purchaser.
- Organize and assign work to achieve quality product as bid
within project budget and timeline. Responsible for timely and
accurate records.
- Direct crews on projects, usually through directions to Foremen
or Assistant Foremen. Responsible for appropriate company documentation
of work performed.
- Schedule and direct the work of subcontractors to achieve
project goals.
- Obtain paychecks from Bookkeeping and distribute to employees
under their supervision in the absence of any Foreman or Assistant
Foreman. Make recommendations for raises and growth opportunities
for personnel to Top Management.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with general contractor
or property owner through quality work, joint planning and communication.
- Obtain contractor signatures for extra work authorization
and cost exception reports.
- Represent company at walkthrough/handoff of assigned projects.

Freedom to Act
- Receive general direction from Top Management.
- Independently negotiate with clients for additional work or
changes of specified project.
- Communicate to Top Management issues concerning performance
of any crew member. Conduct disciplinary action if required.
- Independently assign, prioritize, and organize work for projects
and crews.
- Reports accidents to Administration.
Scope
- Diverse, simultaneous projects, single large projects requiring
multiple crews. Residential, multi-family and commercial.
- Geographical range typically the Front Range, Castle Rock
to Loveland, and west to Vail.
Work Environment
- Work is primarily outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Paperwork is completed in office or wherever convenient.
- Work is primarily Monday - Friday; hours are subject to change
with weather conditions and workload. Overtime is common from
Spring - Fall.

Qualifications for the Position
- 5 years demonstrated success as a landscape construction foreman.
- 10 years experience in landscape construction techniques.
- Working knowledge of industry best practices and safety rules
and regulations.
- Proficient with broad range of equipment commonly used in
landscape construction.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Valid Colorado driver's license and social security card.
